The first annual anything is always a crapshoot, but when the stakes include a Bushwick beer garden party boasting 1,000 fresh, wild-caught Maine lobsters cooked on site, served whole steamed or as lobster rolls, there’s not much to lose.

Despite some first-run missteps, (the absence of certain advertised sides like scalloped potatoes, freshly baked rolls, and an apparent lack of lobster pot steamers to keep up with the large turnout of lobster-hungry fans), the First Annual Lobstah Palooza was quite enjoyable in a Bushwick back-yard party sort of way…
